Grasshopper Bank, a full-service digital bank with approximately $1.6bn in total assets, has launched a new treasury management product in collaboration with Waldo, a US-regulated investment adviser, offering business clients access to tailored treasury portfolios with target yields of up to 5%.

The offering, called Grasshopper Treasury, allows business banking clients to put idle cash to work through the bank's existing digital platform. Clients can access treasury portfolios spanning varying risk profiles, alongside tax-advantaged investment options, same-day withdrawals, and AI-driven insights, all backed by extended SIPC coverage. The product requires a $250,000 minimum balance for eligibility, though no minimum applies to the individual investment products themselves.

Waldo, which holds SEC-registered investment adviser status, provides access to a range of treasury portfolios calibrated to clients' risk tolerance and liquidity requirements. The platform employs bank-level encryption and holds SOC II certification to ensure asset protection.

Grasshopper Bank serves the business and innovation economy with a suite of products covering small businesses, startups, Banking-as-a-Service, SBA lending, commercial API banking, and white-labelled consumer banking.

Grasshopper Treasury is available on a rolling basis following an introductory consultation and eligibility verification. Once approved, clients can manage their treasury accounts directly from their digital banking dashboard.

Grasshopper director of startup banking Rob Burnett said, 'Fast-growing companies need treasury solutions that are flexible, accessible, and built around the way they actually manage cash. Through our partnership with Waldo, we are giving clients a smarter way to put idle cash to work while maintaining the liquidity and control they need to run and grow their businesses.'

Waldo founder and CEO Ryan Belanger-Saleh said, 'Grasshopper has built a digital banking platform that understands the needs of modern startups. Together, we are helping companies make more informed decisions about their cash by combining flexible treasury portfolios, contextual AI-driven insights, and a streamlined digital experience.'
