Belgian WealthTech Abbove, a European wealth planning platform operating on a white-label B2B2C model, has announced the deployment of its technology at ING Belgium, enabling the bank to launch a new digital wealth planning experience for its clients.

The new service, branded as ING Financial Compass, has been made available to both ING Belgium's Personal Banking and Private Banking clients. While the product is built on Abbove's technological foundation, it has been configured to reflect ING Belgium's specific advisory model, client segments and wealth objectives, allowing the bank to offer a solution consistent with its own identity.

Through ING Financial Compass, clients are able to centralise information about their wealth, monitor their overall financial situation and track how it develops over time. The platform also supports the structuring of family, financial and estate information to help clients prepare for significant wealth milestones and anticipate succession matters.

For advisors, the consolidated view is intended to deepen client conversations and help identify appropriate solutions aligned with individual goals.

The deployment represents a notable expansion in the reach of Abbove's platform. Historically, the technology has been used primarily within wealth advisory, private banking and family office environments. Its rollout to ING Belgium's Personal Banking segment marks the first time the platform has served a broader retail-adjacent client base at this scale, and demonstrates its capacity to support large financial institutions in delivering structured wealth planning more widely.

Founded in Brussels in 2017, Abbove provides financial institutions across Europe with a platform through which private banks, wealth managers and family offices can deliver personalised wealth guidance.

More than 1,200 advisors currently use the platform to support close to 40,000 families, representing in excess of 200,000 individuals across Europe. Its existing banking clients include BNP Paribas Fortis, Deutsche Bank and Quintet Private Bank. The platform is available in Belgium, France and Luxembourg, and holds both ISO 27001 and ISAE 3000 Type 2 certification.

Abbove CEO Guillaume Desclée said, 'This collaboration with ING Belgium is a major step for Abbove. It strengthens our position as a reference player in the European banking market and marks an important evolution in our trajectory, with the opening of our platform to the Personal Banking segment alongside Private Banking. It confirms Abbove's ability to support large financial institutions in deploying personalised wealth planning at greater scale.'
